A story rooted in resilience, growth and the desire to create something better for the next generation.
MY Story
I grew up between Hartford and Windsor, Connecticut, moving between foster homes for many years of my childhood. My life was split between the inner city and the suburbs, but in both places, I often felt the same thing. A lack of stability and guidance.

As a young girl, I spent much of my life searching for direction. There were many adults around me, but very few who truly spoke life into me. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of people who genuinely encouraged me and helped me see my potential. That absence of guidance leaves an impact on a young person, and it was something I carried with me for many years.

The Turning Point
When I became a young adult, I found myself reflecting on my childhood and asking a question that stayed with me: How can people look the other way when they see someone struggling? How can adults see mistreatment, loneliness, or a child lacking support and just move on?
That question eventually turned into a calling. I knew that if I ever had the opportunity, I wanted to be the person who showed up. The person who created a space where a young girl could feel supported, heard, and guided.

How AUTH Began
AUTH Mentorship began in December of 2025 in the most natural way possible. My daughter and several of her friends had previously began spending time around me talking, opening up, and asking questions. They trusted me enough to confide in me, and I realized that many young girls simply need an additional space outside of home and school where they can openly express themselves, ask questions, and build confidence in who they are becoming.

AUTH Mentorship is not meant to replace the role of parents or families, but to serve as an additional source of encouragement, guidance, and opportunity for the girls we support.

Our very first meeting took place at a local library where we talked about self-esteem. What stood out to me most was how engaged and inquisitive the girls were. They wanted to learn, grow, and understand themselves better. From that moment forward AUTH Mentorship began to take shape.

Why This Matters
I am passionate about helping young women because I know what it feels like to grow up without consistent guidance. When you come from a place where support is limited, you remember the few people who showed up for you. Those moments stay with you. My goal is to be that person for the girls who come through this program. Someone who speaks life into them, encourages them, and connects them to opportunities that can shape their future.

What Girls Gain
Beyond workshops and activities what I want the girls to gain most is confidence. I want them to speak up unapologetically and never feel afraid to hold space in a room. I want them to feel seen, valued, and equal to their peers. Most importantly, I want them to believe that their goals are worth pursuing and that they should never give up on themselves.

The Environment
AUTH Mentorship is designed to feel like home. I want every girl who walks into this space to fell warmth, comfort, and acceptance. They should feel safe being exactly who they are, while also being encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves. The goal is not to compete with others, but to compete with who they were yesterday.

The Vision
I created AUTH Mentorship to bring this vision to life, building a powerful system that leads young women toward opportunity, leadership, and success. I want this program to serve as a bridge, connecting girls to experiences and possibilities they may not have known existed. In a world shaped by social media and constant comparison, AUTH aims to set a different standard. One that pushes boundaries, opens eyes, and creates a new path for the next generation.

The Impact
I want the impact of this program to be visible throughout the community. I want the girls who are part of AUTH to walk with confidence, speak up when something is wrong, stand up for one another, and never feel afraid to take up space. Leadership begins with believing your voice matters.

What I Hope They Remember
Years from now, when the girls who come through AUTH look back, I hope they remember the same thing I remember from my youth. Someone believed in them. Someone spoke life into them when they needed it the most.

AUTH stands for Authentic, Unapologetic, True, Heart.

These values guide everything we do. We believe in being Authentic with ourselves, unapologetic about our growth, true to who we are becoming, and open-hearted enough to love and uplift others along the way. When young women learn to love themselves, they gain the power to spread that same confidence and strength into the world around them.
AUTH Mentorship exist to help young women discover that power within themselves.
